I have a 93 exciter that hasn't been used in 2 or 3 years. Now when I fire it the throttle over ride kicks in right away. The last time I had it out it ran fine. Does anyone know anything about this?

thinking about buying a new sled soon.I like how the pro 163 handled. but I dont like polaris's history with engines blowing up. the m8 153 felt okay for the 10 minutes I rode it, though I would go with a 162. since I'm undecided I was hoping to get some opinions to help me out. thanks.

whats the best way to pull the mag. I am picturing a plate that would bolt to the pull starter with a jack bolt to the shaft. Is that side a tapered shaft as well. what other precautions should I be taking? is alighnment an issue if I might be replacing the crank? I finally ordered a service...

I'm debating what to do with my 03 800 rmk. I believe the pto side rod bearing just went. I've heard all kinds of horror stories about these engines failing shortly after a wide bearing upgrade. It would be nice to hear the good stories. has anyone had good luck with some minor repairs?

does anyone know where a guy could get the same mesh screen (or equivelant) used for flow rites in bulk? The local stealerships sell a square foot for a fortune. I could use a couple square meters.
