well like every winter in edmonton, I find myself bored stupid so I either buy basket cases and fix them or do ground ups on friends machines. I offered to build a bike for a friend of mine this winter so I thought I would start a build thread to share. The bike is a 2006 Kawasaki KX 250. Full...
installed a DJ kit with the purple/white spring, mountain ramps and I also swapped my top gear for a 19 tooth. I know, this set up is for the mountains but I want to go for a rip tomorrow on the flats. How much weight should I use?
I have a friend that is giving me a set of fox floats off of his 07 xrs. I heard they are 1" longer than the xp shocks. Will they work or will they cause issues with the handling or anything else?
I'm trying to get my carbs out to be cleaned and the jet to checked over and apparently removing the seconday and jackshaft will make this waaaayyy easier. Just wondering if there was a way of removing the chain gear without the tool or if anyone had one I could use for a day.
Heading out to coal lake tomorrow for a rip, if you don't hear from me, it means I never checked the ice and I'm probably at the bottom:d J/k I was out that way and checked the ice today and it measures 8.5 inches. I'll be heading out tomorrow for a rip. Happy riding!!
Well the time is almost among us so I thought I would start a thread to see who all has machines for the ice. Here is mine. This will be the first time ever riding on ice. It should be a blast!
I also have a set of studded tires for this to go on yet. It's a 2000 cr80 with a shaved head...
just plumbed in a NX nitrous express kit on my quad but I'm not sure what the fuel/n2o spread should be. the kit was for a tripple cylinder application but I plumbed it for a twin 2-stroke. I'm positive the standard spread will be different for the twin application.
I was just wondering if...
So I'm already dreading the cold a** winter and was thinking of occupying the winter months ice racing. Does anyone here do it?
I'm just looking for a bit of information on how to get started, bike set up, tire choice. type of screws and pattern. I'm looking to pick up a set of tires and...
Well I went to mot's today to have a sleeve and port done on my nephews cr 80 but they were closed until further notice. WTH. So who else would do such work in or around the edmonton area? It would be nice to go somewhere with quick turn around also so I could get this kid riding again.
Thanks...
Well after the last trip to Brule and the great time we had, we decided to go ahead with another trip. We will be heading out Saturday june 19th in the morning and will be staying the night and leaving on the 20th. I'm just wondering if anyone else can make it. If so, stop by for some pops and...
Just wondering if anyone is heading out to Brule this weekend. Wouldn't mind ripping around with some peeps from snow and mud. I'll be riding the 07 Banshee along side a black and blue raptor. Stop by and have a pop!
I was just wondering if it is possible to install a boondocker nitrous kit with out an air box? I recently had a kit given to me and want to install it on my banshee. The only problem is that I have replaced the air box with K&N pod filters because the box wouldn't fit the now larger 35mm carbs...
