Hey guys, I am new to Polaris and was looking for a bit of advice..
I bought a 2012 Pro RMK 800 with 250 miles on it and have heard about their primary spring issues..
I was thinking of upgrading the stock spring with the lime green Team spring and getting the slick shift washers from Indydan...
great ..thanks I found a supplier close to me....
do you know if you give up any performance for the quick adjustablility?
I see that most of the adjustable weights are weighted at the tip and the middle of the cam arm and "those manufuacturers" say that they perform better.....
Are you...
Hey guys what do u recommend for a good adjustable weight set up....
I like the Cutler system for Cats as you can adjust w/out taking primary clutch off..
Anybody make a similar set up for the Polaris??
Thanks
Troy
Hey guys just wondering what guys are using to polish their tunnels up to near mirror finish?
I heard its alot of work but summer is long and I have the time....
Thanks
Thanks, ya I might do that
I read in the manual today that due to the large holes in the brake rotor you will hear a whining noise as you spool up..........a little annoying but I will get used to it....
I have been riding Doo since 1997 ....I rode them cause I thought they were the best sled out there at the time.....I am not really brand loyal and dont bleed one color
I still have my 2009 Summit X but I just picked up a 2012 Pro RMK cause from everything I have read and seen they are more...
I just swtiched from my 2009 Summit X to a 2012 Pro...
Good and bad as with any sled but mostly good ....
I do like the set up and dont miss the extra hp like I thought I would and can tell that will be more fun to play with .....:)
It does have an annoying whining sound coming from the brake...
Anybody go with the BMP can on the Pro 800 ??
All stock right now and wondering if I wil lose horsepower....also looking to shed some weight off the stock muffler..
I normally buy MBRP but I think you only save 2-3 lbs over stock muffler
Found a used BMP can with only 100 miles on it but I am...
Looking to get into the sport of Vintage racing and was looking for a mid to late 70's cat..preferably a z 340 or z 440 model...
