I use engine ice in my YFZ 450 but did not really notice a difference in cooling. I don't have a temp gauge so all I can tell about the engine temp is how often the fan comes on and I'm sure it didn't change. For the cost of it, I would go with something else.

Since this is kind of a ask the wise about RTs thread, I found that my front cooler was leaking and decided to by pass it. I ran the coolant through and it has been sitting in my friends shop for the past month and he noticed that it slowly leaking still (not in the cooler). I think its leaking...

Nice job and great lookin sled. Just curious about why you went to the small vents on the side panels instead of keeping your original ones? I have been looking at kits and thought the bigger ones would be nicer.

I agree with ridehard, get ur crank checked out. I have a friend who had a dirtbike and it would idle fine but kept going through stators and not rev up. Turns out his crank was broke in half. The crank would definately be a good place to check especially if it has a few miles on the original crank.

That would be a good idea to have that computer but I would be worried you would put bad mapping on so that yours would climb the best:nono:

I agree I think that 1000s are awesome but everyone who rides them only seems to run the boondocker box and no one has an opinion on anything else. Ride the best

I have been using F1 for a while now and love it. It makes for a good clean up after machine polishing and blends the hard to reach spots well. Thanks for making a great product.

My friend is running the timbersled filters so I was going to see how he liked them then possible get the same. Is anyone running the boss controller, is it easy to install and tune???

I have polished my sled as well as many of my friends and I use the electric buffers that I also use on big trucks. This seems to work the best but does take some skill and time. If you would like it done PM me, Im in Edmonton.
