I got a looney tuned for my grizzly and my grizzly works better than any other grizzly around, some difference, If you are serious about power then the full exhausts will give you a bit more than a HMF slip on can, but you are also going to pay for it. My looney tuned setup has been my best mod...
You should be able to catwalk in high with that bike and those tires, and you should be able to go in some mud in high range with those tires,
check this vid out
well sometimes the crowd I ride with will take a spirited run down a twisty trail, and in the trails nothing I ride with is as fast as the grizzly 700's, but I account most of this to the power steering and the experience of the riders riding those bikes. There are some 800 can-ams and yes they...
yea she sure screams lol, but she can take it!! I am thining it was a rev limiter because I actually got to a point where it bababababa, and usually when it is a speed limiter it will actually shut you down a bit...
Now before you all flame me about going so fast this is a question on how the bike works and has a purpose for clutching not going faster...
Now the question, I had my grizzly down a dirt road and I either hit a rev limiter or speed limiter at 105 km/h. I have never hit this number before my...
+1 gotta love the maxxis tires, the zillas are a little smoother than the mud bugs at slow speeds but both are great tires. There are people that will chime in and say mudlite this or swamplite that, but trust me these are the tires to buy for mud/all around performance. If you want just a mud...
Nice, anyone riding a 2010 that wants snorkels and a rad relocate this is a nice way to go, keep your good warranty and drive it like you stole it, possibly a good route for anyone looking for stock length or a bike with smaller tires also, you could buy a standard 800 then put the rad relocate...
I wonder if those snorkels will be a part that you can order off of the website, because you would think that they would hook up to a stock outlander also...
I would totally agree that is one mean machine with the factory mud tires, snorkels, and gearing....,but I have run with a mudpro 700 while I was on my grizzly 700 and even in the mud I was still able to out do him, granted that my tires are not stock and I have never seen a 1000 go, and we...
The overheating is the Can-am's achilles heel, so much compression making tons of power, but also tons of heat. If you plan on running a lot of mud, you may want to look into mounting rad on front rack, it will completely solve the issue, but some people don't like the way it looks. If not for...
Sometimes them's the breaks, can be pretty embarassing too, I once tried to follow a honda 420 with 25" rubber with my grizzly, and when I hit it I just dug a hole....end result he got across, and i didn't.... not happy:rant:
Which quad is not really the best question as to what you are going to put on it for mods, vs. what holes are like around you.
Yamaha Grizzlies have some of the best ground clearance, probably one of the best 4 wheel drive, low wieght but relatively low power, but if you are going to run in...
I agree with you totally, but with what happened with the rhino, it seems sxs have been painted with a different brush and are apparently a problem when it comes to liability to your product, just ask yamaha how they feel about it, they have had to add doors, pull out swaybars, and handles, heck...
just shift your wieght, don't work so hard at pulling up on the bars I just lean forward push away and gas it and away we go...the smaller you are you may need to stand up to shift more wieght...moe power will make it easier and so will stiffening up your back suspension
I have an 08 with the same issue, and I know the two 07's and one other 08 I run with all have the same issue also. Sometimes it will stall on a cold engine, and sometimes it will stall when your in the mid range or the that quick blip that hits the midrange and you get out of it. Everyone...
