Had same issue on '11 assault. Start of day same symptoms. Halfway thru the day, started dying once rpms dropped too low. Had bitch of a time starting it. Smoked terribly, and bogging bad. We changed plugs out throughout day and would immediately foul them. Max rpm we could get was 6500. Burnt a full tank of fuel when others burnt not even half. When dealership was asked they said TPS needs adjustment/repair. Apparently been an issue. Strongly recommend getting it looked at, as its never a good feeling when your machine is acting up on a ride.

I have a 2012 pro 600 i have had the same issue i took it to the dealer twice to fix it they reset the tps and i got about 5 miles down the trail and would start high idling. The third time it would not idle at all it ran like crap up until 6500 rpm so i went to a new dealer ill let you know when they fix it
