Any feedback about how this system works, compared to previous drives and tracks?

The 15 feet I rode my buddies it seemed awesome! Jokes aside. I’m excited to see it on the snow.

I have one but only trail ridden so far. The word is from the guys spending lots of time in good snow that the setup is fantastic except with the 6 tooth drivers you need to stay on top of keeping the track tight or it will ratchet.

Everyone Ive talked to that’s ridden it, including myself prefer it over the 3”. Feels snappier and the track doesn’t seem to loose traction as easy. I think the Polaris 3” paddles are soft and fold over.

Yes Room for improvement on drivers, two introverts and one extrovert? Why?

My husband just got a khaos 155 2.75 with QD2 and he's finding the same thing- track was ratcheting first ride out, tightened the track and it's been better but still ratcheting a bit so he's tightening it again. He thinks the QD2 is way better than my 2020 khaos but he hasn't et me try it yet- though he did offer about 5 min from the truck...on the way back down.

If you let the track slip and ratchet continually you will break the rods in the tracks and then need a new track. Stay on top of it. Polaris has specified that this track needs to run tighter than the older tracks. Check your owners manual if you have not seen the new spec.
My 2016 track split at the back wheels and was replaced under warranty. I am concerned about running this track even tighter and will consider an offset axle and bigger rear wheels to spread the forces. I did that on my last 2 sleds. It backs up in snow easier too with big wheels.

Drivers are cheap (within reason) and allow for you to run the track at a much better tension. Contact any of the site supporting vendors and pick up a set and it will be money very well spent.

plus, it is much easier to grease the skid when it is on the bench!

But for me the big question is: For the Khaos the rails curve up more at the front so will it still stab the track if no antistab kit is installed?

for the extra $100-$150 why would you not do an anti stab? For me extroverts and anti stab just go hand in hand. I never want driver to rail contact.

I think it is a pretty good package. I have 300 miles on so far and zero issues. I have a 19 174 for the past 2 seasons and I think in most cases this sled will hang with that one. It builds ground speed really fast comparing to the 19. I spend several days with a bunch of 850T’s and it can’t break trail like they can but its not that far off.
In most snow conditions the track will perform quit well, not giving up anything from the 3”. Once you loose ground speed in deep snow it will trench fast tho. I need to check track tension now I notice last couple rides going through sharp creek dips I heard noise from track, not sure if it was ratcheting or rubbing, bottoming out.
Shocks took a bit do dial in, they are very stiff springs. Have them backed way off and damping adjusters are quit sensitive. Now that I have them close they are great.
It will need some clutch work, engine is screaming good but don't think it is getting max track speed. seeing 40-42 mph on turnouts.
Was starting first pull on short pull every time for fist 150-200 miles but now is taking 2 pulls. Going to change out plugs now that it is broke in and see if that fixes that.

You have both same sleds as me. I have some good clutching worked out if you are interested?

I have used a TRS setup on my 19 and am going to throw it on the Khaos and see how it works out.

I hear that clutching is good. It would be interesting to compare it to how mine works. I am just in Legacy so pretty close to you. Where do you ride?

2.75 performs awesome but absolutely the worst drivers setup to date. Polaris drivers suck but this out does even typical polaris. 86 miles and have had tighten the track 4 times and it’s damaged already. Need powder freaks drivers and anti stab cuz a 6 tooth, center drive 3.5 pitch driver can’t take a load and never will.

I rode one 2 weeks ago for about 10 min and it sounded like something was grinding the entire time, I asked the owner and he said he thought it was a grinding sound to and his buddy who has the same sled was saying his sounds the same, so I’m assuming it’s the new drivers making the noise. Almost like ice rubbing against the track.

not to thread jack here but, I notice my khaos has a weird vibration from the boards once in awhile as well. Usually after I give it some throttle to roll it off it’s side. I was thinking just ice buildupas it goes away after some spirited braaps , perhaps yours is the same issue?

I do have my track fairly tight, but I was told to running tight won’t do any damage. (Camso 3” 163 with ice age rails).

I have about an 1/8th more track on the throttle side then brake (measured from rail to edge of track)

A buddy of ours has this exact problem, seems like the track constantly needs tightening to prevent ratcheting, I've ridden the sled a little in some decent powder and must admit it is a nice track and seems to perform well marginally better than my old 2.6. I went with a camso X3 with powder freaks drivers and an anti stab kit this yr and am very happy with that combo.
