Does anyone know where I could buy/order the proper tool for installing the mechanical seal for the water pump on my 2009 Polaris dragon 800? I have talked to the dealership here in lloydminster but the couldn't tell me where to find it. And I can't seem to find it anywhere on the web...

Yeah we have been putting it on with a socket to, I was trying to avoid having to pull the motor out again.

So I bought a new motor for my dragon, came with the fix kit installed and we had to change everything over. We had to put a new seal in for the water pump its a spring seal and we have changed it 3 times now and this last time we changed the seal had everything put back together, ran it for...

I have a 2009 Polaris dragon and I'm trying to install the spring seal behind the propeller for the water pump. My question is how far is the seal supposed to be pressed onto the water pump shaft? Distance from end of shaft to seal?
