Go up to the fire guard, probably 5 miles(NW) from the Regional Park. Lots of great trails off the road, you can even try crossing the beaver dam. Haven't rode there in a few years but it's worth a try if your in the area.

Keep an eye out for the HYLO quad rally, usually last saturday of March(23rd OR 30th). East of Boyle 20 mins. It's a great rally. Will probably be ton's of snow this year.

I have the Undercover topper. It's light, solid, easy to swap out and provides security. It seals really well. It's a pain when you wan't to load up the quad but it only takes a minute to pop off. I like mine so far and it looks pretty good..

You might want to browse through kijiji(edmonton, calgary, saskatoon) for a few days, they seem to set the bar. I have a 07 650 outty and I have seen them with low miles for $7500(which means I have lost lots!). With tires and rims you should list at 8k,just my 2 cents.
