Has anyone been back in Harvey or ram creek area's. How's the trail access and snow conditions?

Did revy area get the rain like sicamous? Sounds like snow is heavy and crusted there now.

avalanche gear is just expensive added weight if you dont know how to use it. Every person riding in the mountains should have to take an avalanche course before venturing into the backcountry. Should be mandatory. Just my opinion. Play safe out there folks avalanches are real and do happen!

any info from FSA AGM as far as logging rd closures around fernie area this season? specifically harvey ram creek area.

Head east to seeley lake, excellent riding for all abilities. Very nice acccomadtions with lots of sled to your door cabins on the lake. I believe a montana yearly trail pass is $25. They are available many places in town. One of my new favourite spots to sled.

These special reports should be on all local and national news day and night for the duration of the report. The media likes to jump on breaking news of avalanche incidents, but are reluctant to televise these special warnings which could prevent further incidents. So many people unaware of...

A new 14 is 13000 plus tax for a 154 x. This also includes 4 year bumper to bumper warranty. So the 12500+ used 13's on kijiji are a pipe dream!

Just rode last 4 days in fernie. Snow getting quite firm. Found some fresh everyday. Snow much better down low in trees (below 6000').
