I don't know anything about yamaha clutching. But I know a lot of people up grade with team clutches. So I'm assuming they are better.

What is making you want a sidewinder over a king cat? The cat comes with what I think is very good clutching, $2000 upgrade and the rest is mostly the same. Help me out I'm thinking cat. And I'm a Doo guy.

Everything stated makes sense. I just don't ride with any yams. Some turbo 2strokes, I was there. I had way to many issues. I like the factory reliability. Might have to demo one.

Thanks. Good to know what boost does at elevation. With the extra weight of a 4stroke, how does it compare with a 800 174x3. In the steep and deep. And if I'm going this way, it will be all the way. Lol. what do you think 250 hp will get you for speed.

I'm a Doo guy. But 180 hp. Up to 270 hp at elevation. When 800s are 130?-140? At elevation. I'm thinking about it. Might be a blast.
