Snowmobile Trail Update:
We are facing serious challenges in grooming the trails. Many of you are aware that, there is a very weak base due to warm temperatures and low amounts of snow. This morning we welcomed over 300 Snowmobilers at Boulder and over 275 snowmobilers at Frisby. This...
Revelstoke Snowmobile Club, Snowmobile Revelstoke Society and the Revelstoke Lions Club will be hosting Snowarama on February 25th in the Boulder Parking Lot! Starting at 3PM. There will a bonfire, hot chocolate, hot dogs and a toboggan party for the kids! We are hosting the event in the parking...
The following is simply to address and perhaps clarify some of the concerns raised on this thread. There is no doubt that the trails were rougher than they usually are and I do apologize for it although it was certainly beyond my control, let alone my staff’s control. Snowmobilers often...
As noted there is a problem with the final section of new trail on Frisby. This will be rectified in the coming days. I am meeting with the logging contractor in the morning to discuss the last section of the new trail. Everything should be fixed by the weekend at the very latest if not...

The reports are public information. I have copies of most of them. If you would like a copy let me know. We the Clubs in BC have argued these reports many times with various levels of government. We have a signed Mememorandum of Understanding with Government including Best Practices for...
The British Columbia Snowmobile Federation looked into hiring their own biologist. The biggest problem that we face is funding. The second issue is finding a biologist that actually wants to take this on. Government funds a variety of studies. The scientist hired by government isn't going to...
Ultimately a Minister signs off on the closure as it’s a change to legislation. The problem is that the Minister typically has very little history on the issue. He depends on his staff to give him the straight goods. If his staff favours one direction over another that’s the recommendation...
Closing more areas does note protect caribou and will not ensure a succesful recovery. I honestly believe that government just doesn't understand what the snowmobiling community does to protect Mountain Caribou. They just can't grasp it. They need to walk a season in our shoes. They need to...
Wow..... What a season! There were many great snow days and lots of sunshine! Thank you to those of you who supported us by Snowmobiling Revelstoke this year. It was a very succesful season and even though we have stopped grooming there are still some great rides to be had.
I would like...
Thanks for bringing it down. It belonged to some sled skiers. It's broken and missing parts so they didn't want it anymore. They were asked to bring it down by Regualtion Ron as we don't have garbage pickup at the cabin.... thanks for looking after it!:)
There will be staff at Boulder to assist with road safety.
They will be equiped with a radio.
$10 early season trail pass will be required unless of course you have an RSC membership. :)
