Revelstoke Snowmobile Club, Snowmobile Revelstoke Society and the Revelstoke Lions Club will be hosting Snowarama on February 25th in the Boulder Parking Lot! Starting at 3PM. There will a bonfire, hot chocolate, hot dogs and a toboggan party for the kids! We are hosting the event in the parking lot so that it's easier for people in the community and the Lions Club to participate. Last year the British Columbia Snowmobile Federation was able to present $44,361 on behalf of the 48 BCSF member clubs and 4100 members ~ we are hoping to increase this number for this year!
If you would like to donate but won't be able to attend, you can mail a cheque to the Revelstoke Snowmobile Club P.O. Box 1849, Revelstoke, BC, V0E 2S0. (please include a note that it's for Snowarama.)
Snowmobilers in B.C. have raised over $3.8 million for children with disabilities since the inception of Snowarama in B.C. in 1978. Despite the lack of snow in some highly-populated regions of the province, BC snowmobilers raise the highest Snowarama funds per capita in Canada! Thank you to everyone who donates and participates!:d
