I don’t own one but had seriously considered it. The 2 main drawn backs for me are.
1. Tongue weight is heavier because your quads are up front on the open deck. I prefer to have more weight over the axels.
2. You lose so much interior space in the trailer since you don’t have a garage...
I am in the process of putting 1" styrofoam insulation in the walls.
The floor is just pressure treated plywood, no insulation at the moment. Would like to get the underneath spray foamed down the road.
Yes I do want to dry clothes and gear in the trailer.
Make sense what you say about the...
So are you saying your furnace is too big? Meaning it heats up the trailer too quickly? I am not quite understanding?
I have a 21 ft V nose and debating between at 35,000 Btu and 42,000 Btu furnace (minor price difference).
Would I be better off getting the 35,000 Btu furnace because it...
Hi Folks,
I have an older Wells Cargo V nose trailer that I am in the process of upgrading with a furnace. I'm stumped on getting a low cost but good looking furnace cabinet to mount it on the wall.
I've made many phone calls all over Edmonton, Red Deer and Calgary looking for a furnace...
Hi folks,
Me and my lady are heading out for July long weekend and staying at the Cadomin Motel. Can anyone advise of the trail conditions there at the moment? Is the water level in creeks high?
My wife is a newer rider with one easy riding season under her belt on a Grizzly 500cc. I'm hoping...
Would like to hear to outcome of this and if the GPS unit helped you get it back. I am seriously considering getting a GPS tracking unit for my enclosed trailer. Keep us updated please. Hope you get it back. Good reminder to everyone to have your insurance updated.
Wilson and Weboost are the same company, they just changed their name to Weboost in the last year. Keep your eyes out on Kijiji for cell boosters. I just picked up a brand new Weboost 4G-M for $300, regular in store price is about $499. I phoned all over Edmonton and Calgary recently trying to...
Great Thread! I picked up a 2007 Wells Cargo 25ft Trailer last summer to use for hauling 2 quads and camping in. Unfortunately the trailer walls are not insulated and I figured it would be an easy job to pull down the boards on the walls. Boy was I wrong. The ceiling came down no problem...
How much were you quoted for doing the ramp door? I have a 25ft V nose enclosed trailer that I would be interested in getting the ramp/door coated to give better traction. Currently it is just exposed plywood and man is that sucker slippery.
Just my 2 cents but I will never go quading at Alder flats again. Huge deep mud holes every 100m and rutted out trails. Spent most of the day's winching out & waiting for my group to get unstuck. Not my idea of fun. This was over 5yrs ago, I imagine the "trails" are in worse shape. However I'm a...
Your trailer sounds pimp! Did you do the installation of the folding bunks and power inverter/charger yourself? Do you have any pics you could post? I'm going to check out my soon to be trailer tomorrow.
Hi guys,
I'm on the verge of buying a 20ft V nosed enclosed trailer. Its a 2007 Wells Cargo Brand Silver Sport Skidoo Trailer, model is a SSW142 Deluxe, full aluminum construction (frame, body & wheels), insulated roof but no furnace and 2 x 3500 lbs axels. I was thinking this would be a...
Hi all,
I'm looking for some good people to meet up with on Sunday to ride with. The plan is to drive out saturday night after work (6pm) or early Sunday morning. There will be two of us on one 700cc king quad. Hoping for some nice trail rides and bit of mud, nothing crazy.
Where is everyone...
