Will 9 tooth extroverts fit my stock '02 hmx800? What is the best way to cut out the tooth windows in the track ? Do I need to clip the holes I make? Thanks

I may be interested in your hood.. Do I need to change out my stock track to intall extovert drivers? I have a 15 x 151" now, and it doesn't have all the slider windows punched out. I have a reinforced tunnel at the front so I wouldn't be able to fit a 16" but would be interested in a 15.5"...

Finished the class/field courses in Dawson/Tumbler Ridge this -30* weekend and had a great time with very knowledgeable sledders/instructors. Thanks Lori for a great classroom session, and both of you for not freezing us on Sunday.

Thanks guys, I ended up buying some anaerobic permatex flange sealant (man that stuff is $$$). Got the rest of my parts in the mail so will button her up this weekend.

Motorcycle tires, I'll buy about 6 if you drag them home. Wayyyyyyyyy cheaper in the states and they have free delivery to where you will be.

I took apart my secondary ('02 800 hmx-rer) to clean and replace the buttons. Am I supposed to wind the spring a notch or so when reinstalling the helix? There is an arrow on the sheave that says "spring tension" or something like it.

I'm in for Saturday and the "field work" in Tumbler on Sunday. Looking forward to it.

I've got some motoseal ultimate grey gasket maker, should I use this instead of the 5910 loctite black rtv recommended by a brp tech? Thanks

I've got motoseal on hand, but was told by a tech in Grande Prairie that they use Loctite 5910, which looks like black rtv silicone. What have you guys been using?

Crank bearings all look good, will replace 2 outer seals and regrease. What are you guys using for sealing the crankcase parting line? I have motoseal by permatex but was told to use 5910 loctite, which looks like a black rtv silicone.

I should be in town on Thursday, be good to meet a few fellow beer drinkers---err I mean sledders.
