I've got some motoseal ultimate grey gasket maker, should I use this instead of the 5910 loctite black rtv recommended by a brp tech? Thanks

I prefer to use the RTV that is designed for transmissions use for all my sealing.

Can get any Napa, Canadian tire, or automotive parts store.

Little bit more expensive but worth the piece of mind.

Either should work, as long as the product can withstand any shop fluid.

i used anorbic sealant the last time i did mine..... thats what many case halfs are sealed with... drys in the absense of air.... and cause the bottom end has some psi-vac silicone thats still moveable can get pushed out or sucked in and have a vac leak.... chuck at lakeside repairs told me i was right using the anorobic sealant....
