I've known Jim since his Jasper Cycle days. I've never had the pleasure of riding with him, but I've been passed by him lots of times, in Harescrambles and Crosscountry races around the province. Jim's always been the guy that could see the line that no one else see's, most of the time without...
Trailseekers is a non-ASA club. We sell a day pass for $15.00. If you decide you like the trail, you can upgrade your pass to a season pass for $45.00.
Helping a friend put his sled back together tonight, and need to know what to torque the primary bolt to. Ive looked back 3 or 4 pages, lots of 670 posts, but no torque specs. Someone care to share?
Turned out to be an awesome day, lots of happy faces in those helmets! The trail held up pretty well, considering how warm it got today too. I hope no one went away hungry, because there was lots of good grub there.
Trailseekers trail is south of Seba Beach, to Township road 522 (Langley Rd), then west 8 kms. to the Sungro peatmoss plant. Turn north approx. 2 kms. to the staging area. There are Trailseeker signs at all the corners, so its easy to find.
Edmonton tent and awning has what you want Brian, but it wont be $250. Ive had my 10x15 for close to 15 years, its been used at work, camping, sled functions, and I cant count how many BMX races. Its starting to show its age, but it still goes up and down like the day I bought it.
Trailseekers Poker Rally is Feb. 2nd, at the Jackpine grazing reserve. Registration is from 10:00 - 11:30. First hand is $20.00, each additional hand is $5.00 . Trailseekers is a non ASA club this year, but a day pass is $15.00. Lunch is provided on the trail. We have good snow this year, so the...
Trailseekers had club ride yesterday out at the trail on the Jackpine grazing reserve, what a perfect day. Joe and Tim from Cycle Works west brought out a trailer full of new 600 and 800 Pro's for people to ride, and Greg Nielson had his Turbo Pro out there to check out as well. Amazing sleds...
Wow, this thread really is one stop shopping. I came here to voice an opinion, and came away with an education, and a cool new nickname! First thing I learned, was that my honest opinion (I read that little gem here somewhere) is considered to be Whinning, and needs to be run through a filter by...
Assuming that it is $200,000 to rent the hall, that still leaves $78,000 sitting there. A fair bit of cash that could help clubs that are struggling. Every vendor, and up until this year, every club that had a booth at the show, pays up front for the right to be a part of one of the ASA's...
It's actually not that hard to figure out, even if the ASA payed full pop for the 4 groomers that went swimming, if each one cost $28,000 to get back on the trail, it would total $112,000. Take that out of the $390,000 that the ASA has in the bank, and they would still have $278,000 left sitting...
$390,000? I thought the ASA was a non profit organization. How can they justify having that much money left in their account at the end of the year? I've been involved with several non profit clubs over the years, and it usually works out better to have the account at, or near zero at the end of...
