funny i was going to suggest looking at your switch also ,but nesessarely not working but maybe your pushing your throttle a little at an angle and if your bushings are wore out it will trigger it especially if you are full throttle

be very carfull of what you buy without seeing it or hearing it run.imo just buy a short block that comes with warranty. you will not save much if anything at all by ordering a used engine from south of the border with shipping costs.
