I went out. There was some snow, but it wasn't great. Trails are all rutted up. Probably needs another foot or two to really be enjoyable.

Has anybody been out to Bearberry since we got the dump of snow? How does one get out there? Where is the best place to stage? Can you buy trail passes in Sundre or Olds? I'm thinking of going out tomorrow for some trail rides if anybody is interested. PM me. Cheers Hobbs

I would go, but my little 550cc Polaris wouldn't keep up to your sled, and I work at 1:30 in the afternoon.

I'll probably just play it safe and go to Chestermere to put the first couple of miles on the sled. Thanks for the info.

Just checked that Eagle Lake ice is 12" thick. What's the minimum thickness required? 18"?

I was going to ride the ditches along highway 567, just west of Balzac. That's Rockyview, correct? I've seen that other snowmobiles have been in there before.

where do you get onto Chestermere from? I'm guessing not right at the boat launch. what about Eagle Lake out by Strathmore? Can you ride out there?

I was going to go out ditchbanging tomorrow sometime north of the city. It is legal if you stay far enough from the road, isn't it? I've got a brand new sled I want to try out.

Hi everybody! I just bought a 2013 Polaris for the kids and I to have a good time on. Now what? Where is a good place to go ride some trails between Calgary and Lacombe, Alberta? Maybe make some friends to go riding with, etc.
