Rode Eagles on Sunday, snow is pretty good shape yet other then a ice layer like most hills have now, about 1/4" thick, the new snow will not bond well with it. The burn is shaping up but could use another good dump to really hide all the landmines but it is rideable. Was about 10-12 cm fresh...
Yea I didnt think it would be very wise to attempt the shovel out with the conditions, had debated going there but limits the size of the area if you dont go across, thanks for the info!
Can anyone report on how the snow is eat Eagles? Sled Sicamous' page isnt allowing the grooming report to load, just curious how much new snow Eagles got and if they were able to groom the trail to the cabin finally?
Thanks
When your talking north, are you refering to Blue river, Valemount, Mcbride etc? Or jusy Sicamous zones north of the highway? Also has anyone been in Eagles yet? On Sled Sicamous' website they have posted that its ungroomed, logging at km 1 and a washour repair at km 8.5.. ?
Will they be allowing trucks to park on the highway at the normal staging area? Will they be allowing sleds up the road while they are logging mid week? Also are they logging out of Joss this year again?
Anyone been into Keystone in the last few days? I know someone a while back said they were in there and gave their sleds some nice new pin stripping from all the alders haha.
