Is the KTM XCW Muffler Forrestry Legal?

There is no spark arrestor on the stock pipe...I don t think you should be worry about losing poweer after installing a gnarly pipe on a xc-w...all your power is now in tour bottom end. Go on FMF web site and you'll have all the spec...powerparts is KTM's aftermarket parts

    another what to get????

Regardless wich way you go 2 or 4 strokes, the bottom line is that dirt bikes cost money to run...it is not the rebuilt or valves ajustements, that you do it your self or not.. It is what wear off that is expensive...for example...break, tires, fork. seals, broken plastics and levers, cables...

Is the KTM XCW Muffler Forrestry Legal?

The pipe has nothing to do with the forestry approved... It is the muffler that has a spark arrestor. The Q stealth is said to be an excellent unit... But I read that is really big...and not that quiet (most of the noise come from the air intake anyway) I have the turbinecore 2 on my bike with...

With all the fire bans happening....

Fire ban doesn't necessarily mean ATV ban . They had fire ban signs through out Strathcona county and Lamont county last week end and people where still ridding. Just double check with the county...Do your part and make sure you have a spark arrestor...Also stay off the roads cops are really...

    What would you do?

I think the yz 125 is a awesome bike I keep up with most of the guys in the trail with mine.I'm sure it is lighter than the 4 strokes. Is down point come from the fact that it is a small displacement and you need to wind it a lot to produce good power. Because of that it required more...

    Husaberg 450 or KTM XC250

It most be a long time since you got your top end fix...Last time I got mine done on my 250 xc it cost me $600...and a 450 is not a play bike...It is a racing machine...Not for beginner...

    Honda CRF 150F

You can just remove the spark arrestor, It helps a little and give the bike a better sound. But the 150f is so heavy, I don't think it's worth investing any money on it...Just ride it hard it is a good bike to learn.

    96 yz 125

you are probably going to have to do the bottom end has well. By the look of it this bike is in rough shape. Small displacement engine like the 125 required a lot more maintenance (you should do the ring every 25 hrs and the bottom after 75 hrs. How are the tire and the and linkage? Did you know...

    Villeneuve back again Yes

I would be very excited to see that happening...Have been a fans of the Villeneuve since his father's days with Ferrari, but I think that Jacques belongs to the past decade when it comes to F1. Even "Shum" will have a hard time to keep up with the youngsters. Jacques is known to have a stinky...

    heated grips

I use waterproof ridding gloves and it works good. I rode below -10 last winter and froze my tumb. I don't think you will ride (continuous) long enough to justified installing heated grips. As long as you keep your gloves dry you ill be all set. Winter ridding is pure joy as long as you keep it...
