I got them last time at Casterland and they were great, but they were trying to sell me something else no matter how much I told them that I wanted Outlaws
Does anyone know where I can find a set of Highlifter Outlaw MST's? Preferably in Calgary... I have called a few places but seem to get the runaround and they try to sell me something else. Looking for 26x12x12 and 26x9.5x12. I've worn my last set out and have almost 5,000 km on them... never...
Cant wait to try the creeks down there! Thanks for the info, I think you're right about the access, it sounds a little sketchy from Corbin... I should have some time while I'm in the area to check out the Lodgepole or Ram with just the pickup before I head in... just to be on the safe side
Thanks for the info... I was looking at the map and the Lodgepole FSR looked like the best option, but of course the maps don't always tell the whole story. Probably heading out mid to end of July so hopefully the run off will not be as much of an issue.
Does anyone know if you can access Harvey Creek or Butts rec site in the summer with an RV south of Corbin on the Flathead FSR? I have never been in the area, but Backroad Mapbook says they are for either tents or RVs... look sketchy, but is it possible?
Thanks

Good question... recreational booze seems to always disappear from my quadbox... emergency booze is the strong stuff, squirreled away in a difficult to reach spot so it doesn't 'disappear' on a regular basis
I'd also mention... extra winch line, ether, air compressor, shovel, hatchet, flare / bearscare kit, a complete change of clothes from boots to toque, emergency booze, backpack, binoculars and a small tarp with parachute cord... I got stranded this spring and spent the night under a tree, it was...
I had a Jayco for 5 years and had no issues with it, and I abused it. Bought an Arctic Fox 26Z and absolutely love it... had it out camping a few times during the winter... coldest temperature I've had it out in was -35C and no issues other than the line to the rear sink freezing which was a...
I was out by Jackfish Lake last week... there barely any snow in the bush and it was melting fast. The streams were high, the muskeg was soft, but had a solid bottom to it. I like quadding this time of year because I hate skeg and you can get to most places without much trouble.
I had a Garmin 60CX until I smashed it a few weeks ago... excellent unit, but it's been discontinued. I bought the next generation Garmin 62S... I didn't think I'd like it as much as my old one, but now that I'm used to it, I love it. You can load several different maps and toggle between them...
I agree... this would be an awesome addition to the current forums... in addition, it would be really helpful to most new camera operators to post your camera settings that you used for the pic. I am also quite new, just bought a Nikkon 5100 before my trip to Tofino, also bought the book...
I thought the trails were very easy. The road in was wide enough for a pickup as were most trails. The roads and trails were even, but there were often steep hills on either side of the path. I preach about wearing a helmut all the time, I wear mine religously, but I shed mine after a short...
