thanks for the replies, one more question. I live in the badlands with really rough country which makes alot of slow riding to get to the hills and bowls, will this hurt the sled or turbo.

i got a 08 m1000 last year. The only problem i had with mine was a bogging problem about 1/4 throttle. It was a fuel issue, put a pure logic fuel box on it and it seems to have fixed the problem. Other then that it is a beast!

i had a 96 chevy, first year with the vortec motor. Probably the best pickup ive owned, great power around 19 mpg. Even after i put a 6in. lift and 33X12.5 tires on it, it still got 15mpg. i had if for 5 years and only changed a water pump in it.

why is the surgery postponed that long

if its not to serious i would just buy some square tubing, notch the ends, run from one side support to the other and bolt or rivet the tubing to the supports. then just rivet the tin to the tubing.
