I havent ridden an XP, so I cant compare to that. But I find it rather manageable and nimble in the back country. That being said, I am not a small guy either, so I have alot more wieght to throw around. I also have about 10" of rise on my handlebars. They are heavier, but with the boost you...
might seem like a bitch move on my part, but its the same thing every time on here: guy posts, other guy replies, guy complains, point of thread is lost, more complaints, legit question/ answer, complaining continues..... gets tiring after awhile.
It always amazes me just how quickly threads develop a negative connotation on this site. Any time you post anything it's starts off with a few relevant replies before quickly switching to the sour pants whinning hour. I re-posted this under a popular heading so that more members could see this...

just put an MCX 190 kit on mine this year and love it! OJ's in wainwright did the install and did a bang up job too, great fit and finish with the mountain mod seat.
FXR has a new mountain line out this year, i dont remember the price range, but worth looking into. Guy I ride with got a demo suit this year and likes it so far. But as far as a low budjet set up goes, i tried running a klim base layer under my old fxr stuff and i was still just as sweat soaked...
The fibreglass clamshell is heavy option, bent axles may be in your near future. That's is my only complaint about them, but I heard topcap is no longer making the clamshells. But triton now has the aluminum cap, I have it and love it! Lighter, and more usable space. It also has a handy front...
