Lucielle has a lot of rocks. Bell is quite tame, there are some rocks but typically smaller. Renshaw is ok in areas and others have large rocks. I’ve always stayed away from lucielle early season because of that.

Benny and I had an amazing day! Easy 30” of fresh at belle. I thought I took more pics but I know Benny has more.
I heard renshaw has more snow, but the access is horrible and until the trail is maintained, its travel at your own risk. Sleds damaged in the deactivation ditches.
There is still hidden landmines if someone starts to get adventurous, but thats the game this time of year. I wish We could of rode tomorrow but I bent my rails on a hidden rock.

Those new summits must have play dough rails! Thats the second one Ive heard of with bent rails since beginning of November. The other guy didnt even hit a rock, just bounced through a creek. On my old xm i hit a creek hard enough that it hurt, and rails were fine. I dunno.

Just talking to Hotrod and the equipment is being moved to the respective hills tomorrow! He will be starting Renshaw trail building on Tuesday and it will take 3-4 days to complete. Rod Whelpton will be working on Lucielle trail and Belle will be done last. They've had great snow to start the season but the hidden gems are always waiting for the unsuspecting as we've seen already. Ride safe everyone, maybe we'll see you on the hill!

I would not be afraid to go out there, especially to belle. We had a awesome day.
I did not hit that rock very hard, it was on a side hill, so I knew the risk was higher.
I think the track derailed and bent the rails, I dont even think braces would of helped this.
Its a very weird bend, it looks alot better in the pic after Benny and I straighten it for the ride out. Lol
No regrets! Still smiles!
