Qualifying is over at Atlanta. Its the 14 on the pole with the 16-18-17 following. Kenseth was fastest in Happy hour final practice. Who's gonna win? Zeebers? I'm going with the 17 car. He is due as long as Tony doesn't mess with him.

Office Depot leaving Stewart Haas. Dupont selling there paint division, not sure of ramifications to the 24 team yet. Roush still looking for sponsorship for the 17 car next year. Newman needs a major sponsor yet. Whats going to happen to our Nascar if the economy doesn't turn soon?

That was weird in the Nationwide race, Harvick seemed invincible until the last lap - what happened, maybe he was distracted by a water bottle.
I had to laugh when JJ and Knaus cursed at Hornish for crashing him
Poor Ryan Newman, had to feel bad for him - Carl too
the race for the chase is heating up -I would love to see a Marcos Ambrose get another win just to mix things up

I think if Gordon had a couple of more laps he would have taken the checker...definitely had the stronger car at the end.

Penske will announce today that Joey Logano is the new driver of the 22 car for next season. Joe Gibbs Racing has a press conference as well today to announce Matt Kenseth as the new driver of the #20 Home Depot car as has been widely speculated for weeks now. Snopro will hold a snow and mud press conference to announce Carl Edwards and the 99 Fastenal Ford will be his new team for the 2013 season and beyond right after the public burning of all Dewalt, Crown Royal and Best Buy gear he has accumulated since Dale Jarrett left for the dark side back in the early 2000's.
