Just tested again at 38 and 39. Only 20 times better than what we're used to.

Defiantly up and down for my day on speed tests. Real world experiment side of things, shat finally worked. Streamed multiple Video devices all evening with out a hick-up or any waiting.
Technical stats.
I saw as low as 3. And as high as 110. Usually when the down speed was low, up speed was high.
Either way. Happy camper!

So far I'm impressed. Speeds are all over the place, anywhere from the teens to the eighties, but the average is more than adequate. It has dropped right out a few times but only for less than a minute. I need to have Microsoft teams running steady all day. (they're watching right now)plus 90% of our school stuff is online;lots of videos on Nait's site,Youtube, etc. Sure beats driving to the kid's place in town every day. Don't even have to wear pants. Thanks Ron and Elon.

Once you're a licenced picker truck driver I'm sure he'll have some sort of special project he needs a picker truck for......
I’m not a big fan of just blasting screws or lag bolts through my shingle and stapling cables to my exterior like the average rural internet install.
Here’s my idea for a solid mount option with out holes through my roof.
-1” foam glued to a sidewalk block, w/ a couple moister drain channels
-Mount fastened to block.
-block and mount safety chained to roof tie off anchor.
I did reposition it to a different pitch yesterday when I double checked for obstructions with daylight.
For me it needs to be on my roof due to trees. It does require a fairly large clear area from east to west. But fairly narrow north/south.
I can finally view and move my camera system remotely. Couldnt do shat before!

Haha more roofs ruined by bolting crap down through it, i can just imagine solar panels installs. Best crawl up in the attic in a major downpour and have a look. Water destroys homes. It is one thing changing plywood and a whole new ball game when the gang nails fail.

So I received a email saying I can order and service in my area should be up and running mid 2021.
Does this automatically find its own signal or do I have to spend a couple hours dialing it in with a sat finder?

The dish moves and finds the signal and costantanly moves to maintain the signal.

They have a ballasted roof mount on the website but it’s not recommended for heavy wind areas. Your set up looks like it will work well.
Down load the “starlink” App and have a look.
Click check for obstructions and it uses the phones camera to point at sky and look.
There is a big boxed area that it wants to be clear.

It blew up about 10 minutes later but still cool that they landed upright even if it was a little bit rough.
