I wouldn't go too far as to discredit his message even though its not popular with some. He probably has more life/death altering experience then most of us combined.
I first met him in Bosnia as a UN peace keeper, we both worked the line together. He served the entire tour in Bosnia. He also was deployed for 2 tours in Afghanistan and finished his service as an adviser. So reality is he has paid more then what you think in so many way's.

BTW in Afghanistan, it was not a peace keeping mission. He is battle harden, thought i'ed mention that.

Yes true but the peace mission in Bosnia was a tougher job then Afghanistan. At least in Afghanistan we went in with a purpose and we all knew that.
In Bosnia, that wasn't the case. We could had been there with wooden weapon's or stick's because all we could do is watch as atrocity act's were committed. We were the toothless watch dogs.

But hey, you were there and you showed them up, you got ball's, biggest one's I know and one tough SOB.

This is what this fool did one day. You guy's were escorting a truck or couple of trucks and got stopped by a Serb. blockade. So after awhile of waiting this guy
Lund, throws his rifle on the ground, drops his utility belt and challenges one of the Serb. soldier. Toe to toe nose to nose, YOUR F CRAZY. You got in supreme trouble for that stunt. I was amazed no one shot no one as every one was ready to shoot. I wish I would had been there that day, that incident went through camp like wild fire.
