Holy dyna, I live in Grande Prairie. Whats there Address, and Names? My parents have lived in Grande Prairie for a long time, they might know there relatives and let them know what these guys are up too.

If the cops arent goin to do anything about it, atleast give us some background info so we can give a public helping hand.

My sleds are protected by big dog # 1 and Really big dog # 2 !!
nothing left for the RCMP to investigate unless they wait around until they take a really big crap !!;) Well at least you got your sleds back, because its another hassle with the insurance company, especially with sleds !

post up their names if you got 'em. if the cops won't do anything, at least we can spread the word on who the azzholes are.....and I won't be using Odie's for any more pilot jobs, and will tell my other trucking dispatcher friends to do the same. I know a lot of people in the industry, 40+ years in the biz.....

You need to call Odies and tell them why, could just be some loser employee, not owners fault.

Head down to the local detachment.....and find out why they were not charged. If we let this kind of thing go, it'll never stop.

I almost called them yesterday, but what does a guy say? the name would be helpful....I'm not sure how many pilot cars they have. if it's a bunch now, a guy would just sound like a tool saying "one of your drivers......". that's where at least the address (where the truck was parked) would help. I'll just not use them. Sirzones should be calling them and explaining the deal, or give us more info....

they found drugs? caught them red handed with the goods? they couldn't match boot prints? just some weird sh!t going on there....mebbe they rolled over on someone? I would just rather not deal with them....Grande Prairie has become a cesspool in the last few years.

Its becoming a bad place to live,Cops say that the home was a known drug house to them and this let them have an excuse to raid the place. One guy was arrested and is in jail for drug charges, girl that was driving odies truck was released,as well as two others were released. At least we got our sleds back and cops got a bunch of drugs seized.

so the chick was driving the Odie's truck, and likely didn't have anything to do with the theft. but she's prolly a crackhead....thanks for the info man. the last pilot job we hired them for, a portable bridge rented by Ledcor that went from GP to down south for a pipeline job, it was a chick driving the pilot car. wonder if it was her.....

I understand you guys are pissed but maybe don't single out the officers...........you're right the system saved these a**holes again. It always does.

There's tons of reasons why three were not charged. Unfortunately you have to get these guys red-handed right on the sleds/drugs then the charges will stick in our justice system.

Yes its a joke but don't blame the officers if their hands are tied by our wonderful justice system.

glad you got your sleds back, maybe next time these guys steal some sleds (yes there will be a next time) the owner will be there to "stop" them. You can use as much force as necessary to protect yourself and your property........its right in the criminal code. You just can't use too much.

Not taking anyone's side here, this is just the reality of our laws. Like I said, I'm glad you got your sleds back. We all have to do what we can to prevent this from happening.

I think you should post the names of the scum, breaks no laws and serves a purpose to the public, it's the least you can do for them after what they did for you!
