Not giving credit where it is due, ignoring the bad that was done in the past and the present. Both sides are guilty of all the above. Obama admin did some good things and some bad. Trump admin will do some good and some bad. We should call out both sides for the bull****. Trump does something ****ty his side should call him out same with the other side.

He pushes all their buttons and then sits back and watches the ranting and frothing at the mouth over what is usually not much to worry about....and they take the bait every time! The media and progressives still haven’t realized that he doesn’t care what they think, and that he’s gonna do what he and his advisers think is best for the country.
As for whether what he’s doing is right, the proof is in what industry and businesses are doing and how they’re reacting to the political and regulatory atmosphere in the USA. The fact is that money is flowing back into the USA, businesses are investing big time in their infrastructure and inventory and are hiring steadily. Finance and commerce don’t care about politicians. They look at where and when are best for return on investment and take advantage of the best places to invest. The GDP in the USA is above 4% for a reason. Trumps policies have focused on the American people and American industry, and the results are obvious.
If you’re of the progressive mind and think that socialistic left wing governments can do this job as well, remember that under Obama the GDP in the USA never got much above 2% and just look at the investment wasteland that Alberta has become under the NDP. Not to mention Venezuela. Also, the progressive arguments about lower environmental standards and banking controls under Trump, you can shelve that as well. Businesses and small banks aren’t going to risk lawsuits from progressive environmentalists or insolvency just to make a buck. It isn’t good business.

Well seven of the ten listed are pretty good. #3 (the tax breaks) is one I am sure will continue to haunt the US for years to come. Their deficit has never been higher and along with that bill removed a number of regulations placed to avoid another financial melt down they saw in 2008. Like all of this stuff, I guess time will tell.

Measuring the economy is a difficult task. Although there has been much improvement in how things are going, it does not mean it is going well overall.

I hope you are right about businesses not taking short cuts to make a buck but historically that doesn't seem to have been the case.

Isn't the list of stuff in the article something that EVERY president is supposed to do? The stuff he accomplishes that are positive are just that. I don't freak out with Joy when my mechanic successfully fixes my vehicle. Trump always crows about being the best and I do not see his accomplishments, such as they are, that extraordinary. One exception is that he has talked to North Korea which is something new. So far the benefits of that dialogue are unclear but it shouldn't hurt theoretically. I suppose he could just piss that nut off with one of his ridiculous tweets but hopefully not. He is definitely not the God he describes himself as.

You're right , the same respect should be given , myself and everyone included. But, to imagine there could be ANY comparison between What Trudeau is doing for Canada and what Trumps trying to do for America, will make that pretty tough sleddin ! I also believe there's a different standard that should be set for the media, their role is to report the facts, not embellish , not go full partisan, not strive for ratings or humor factor. They require a license to broadcast to the masses, and truth and facts should be the requirement. I'm not suggesting censorship or taking away any freedom of speech, but maybe just a little more fear of the consequences if their reported facts turn out to be false or contrived.
