Looks like a Marlon deck with the extension that flips up into the deck. When today there are pins to put in. Looks like he forgot that and it flipped back up.

Looks like a truckboss. I have the extension as well. Never used it, but I don't recall seeing if there were any pins. Plan on putting it on this week, so I should probably make sure it's secured somehow.

I agree with the marlon. And the ramps have the little safety latch that locks on the bar.
That looks like a pain in the ass!

Not realy a big pain. Takes me about 5-10 min to go from folded to extended.

When we went shopping for a new diesel pusher we checked out the Prevost conversions. At that time they started at $1,000,000 USD if you didn't get any slide outs. That looks like a pretty ingenious set up for loading and unloading the pontoon boat trailer from the pickup. Very cool rig . Doesn't look like a 1/2 ton GMC though

No, you do not unload the pontoon boat.
The trick is to pin the throttle to launch the Chevy into the lake as far as you can go,,, then swim up to the pontoon boat with beer cooler. LOL.
The truck is the counter balance that prevents the pontoon boat from flipping over. Ha

Didn’t read back too far but anyone that has a half ton that wants too try it I got a real nice deck for sale, an extra 10 lbs of powder coating on it , you can do it with the new Chevy with the tow package lol
All depends on weights, tow capacity and other restrictions. Might be perfectly legal if truck as loaded is not over weight on axels, not over weight on motororhome towing rating (non- assisted breaks), etc.
Pontoon boat on the chevy is likely no heavier than a camper in the box or a sled deck with two sleds (or 3), fuel, gear & ice. Occupants are likely riding in the motorhome - whats the problem!

lots of guys putting boats on trucks and pulling them south. just need an overhead crane to unload and pull away... they're usually sitting on their trailer on the back of the truck. I know a guy who put a '17 sport jet on his tundra and pulled a race boat as well... all the way from Idaho!
