Hare scramble racing?

Hey i just bought a 08 trx450r I am wondering if i could enter some hare scramble races for the year in alberta.....any places or info would be great and prices and rules and all that and cc classes.... how long are hare scrambles?

ive already looked into hare scrambles for quads and as far as i know no such class exists in alberta but if you find one let me know i want to try racing

Yeah I thought harescrambles are only for dirtbikes..considering some trails are only 1 foot wide...:confused:

They would have to make courses designed specifically for quads I imagine...it would be pretty hard to make trails useable for both, as I have ridden a couple harescramble courses I can tell you there ain't no way your getting a quad through some of that gnarly stuff. Once I get a more bush ready KTM 2 stroke, i'll probably enter into some harescramble races.

I think there is a hare scramble race just east of lloydminster that was both quads and bikes. If i see any info on it i will post. I've always wanted to try one myself.

I heard that there will be some snow and mudders at the race from calgary which is pretty cool. I've got about 2.5hrs seat time on my bike so far this season and can't wait to start this bush bashing extraviganza.
