If anyone has or knows of a full electric start set up for a 13 XM, I'm interested. Thanks.

I chatted with Jordan Baun out at MotorTech in Golden, last year, regarding my 14'.... he said they had kits. I don't remember what it was all about, but they should be the same I would think.

Put one in my 12 last year. Just went and bought the kit from Martins. Was fairy easy and straightforward to install. Well worth it for me. I like pushing buttons instead.

CAn I ask why people use these? The xm starts with a quarter pull first try. Curious why add the weight?

It isn't much weight. It is easier to start when the sled has been sitting outside overnight at -30. It is easier to start when you are on a steep off camber spot. It is nice to have to push a button instead of starting with pull. Not sure why you would take one off? The weight difference can't be felt. Maybe in your head it can or if you're only 130 lbs lol.

I like the push button ! largest amount of weight comes from battery - installed light weight lithium - weighs nothing - maybe a lb !

Why do you have hand warmers? Gauges? Sliders? Front shocks instead of leaf springs? Disk brakes? Injectors? A guy can go on and on..................some call it progress, some call it convenience.
I call it a necessary convenience on my sled and my wife's sled even tho' they are both "easy starting eTecs"..........

Like years ago when the reverse was just coming out. Lots of guy said that wasn't needed, but they got it now. I know it don't weigh nothing but once you have you wouldn't go back. I wish I would have bought it.
