cidiot- the toque wearing Subaru wagon pilots going anywhere between 40 and 90, usually pissed at sled wagons for passing them

granola munchers- the passenger (s) of the said cidiot Subaru wagon

passing lane 500- you cant do 70 inline behind 29 other cidiots but as soon as you get to a passing lane... the pack can mysteriously speed up to 120 and still no passing the cidiot in front of them and then followed by the immediate random brake tap just after the end of the passing lane and immediately slowing back to 70

random brake tapper-the fine art of tapping your brake usually just before a corner or randomly on a long, flat straight stretch

Highjack / derail is a fairly common forum term. I just don't mind being derailed... conversation is an evolving thing that tends to change over time.

land mine = all the crap I've been hitting this year 'cuz there's no snow
tree magnet = a sled that never seems to be able to miss a tree. Usually blamed on operator error.....by everyone "but" the operator.
booney box = Boondocker brand of fuel controller. Turns many a sledder into a babbling idiot by the end of the day.
on the button = injecting nitrous oxide into the intake to create more power so your sled bounces further down the hill than it normally would have when you fall off.
lug chuckin' = having pieces of your track seperate and fly out the back end and wack your buddy in the noggin'. Attak 20 tracks were famous for this.
bou = mountain caribou. An endangered eco-type of woodland caribou. Endangered by predation in the summer, but sleds get the blame for it anyway.
leaf licker = environmentalist responsible for the above attack on sledding for no apparant reason. Also known a s tree huggers, and granola munchers.
turbo lag = Awwwww c'mon......that's just foreplay!
