Snow up in renshaw today was stupid deep.. For the amount of sleds that went up today, the trail sure would have been nice if it was groomed. The snow was definitely worth it though!

Unfortunately you are right the trail was not groomed the night before! Hotrod goes by a number count and thats 90-100 riders and the trails get groomed. At the time it had only seen 55 riders. But Friday there was 160 up and back, he got caught with his pants down so to speak!! He was regretful, i talked to him today and mentioned there was some complaints and he knew that. 95% of the time renshaw is groomed on Thru, Fri, Sat nights but also some Thursdays and Fridays there is only 25-30 riders this was one of those times he wasn't anticipating a big crowd and it happened. He'll learn from it and trust me he's a worry wart about trail conditions and keeping the riders happy to and from the alpine. Higgins.

Ya it was ridiculously busy on Friday, surprised our whole group too. I don't really care if I have to ride a beaten up trail or not, but unfortunately this time I had to carry a gas can in one hand from km 22 as buddy didn't realize he lost it. Which made it quite a shitty, long ride down. I heard quite a few people complaining, but it's all good from our crew! The snow was too good(deep)!

Lucielle was pretty tracked up today. Wasnt much for fresh snow on top either. Only place to find snow is down lower in the trees. Trail was a smooth highway. But it was dumping pretty good on our way down. The place to be is Renshaw.
