I have had good luck with Martin west. Service dept is more expensive but they did a good job the one time I used them. I still need to take both quads in after the long weekend.

Go to Martin Motorsports. If you go to the south location talk to Trent. He is T-team on this site and has a history of being great to deal with. Don't listen to the people telling you to go to bow ridge in Calgary. No matter how good the service or price its not worth driving that far. And what if you have to take it for warranty? A 6 hour round trip to drop it off and another 6 hour trip to pick it up a week later.

i have dealt with Todd at Bow Cycle since 2007... i can only tell you my experience with bow cause everyone has a different answer when it come to what dealer they like..... all i can say is when i need something done, it gets done.. im a loyal bow cycle customer and it pays off for me.. dealer went to bat for me to get me a small brp loyal customer package so i got 900 bucks worth of can-am gear completely free from them... i mean i go to extremes with the can-am brand and take my can-am quadding fairly seriously by keeping very current in performance and what works and what does not...
thats my 2 cents boys...

and yes Quintin is right... if you live up north it would make sense to stay there... dont buy just cause one dealer is the cheapest... buy cause of the follow up service you will get .

Can't say anything good about Martin's south or west. I couldn't even get a price out of either place two weeks ago when I was looking for 800 xtp. The west end store flat out told me it was sled season and walked away. And as far as tteam I sent him a pm before I went down there that was never returned. Riverside answered my questions found me the model I wanted and I bought there. I'm going in for my first service after next weekend and I will keep you posted.

That sucks. hopefully they will read this and not let the business go somewhere else in the future. I have had good luck with Riverside too.

I look young so I am used to getting blown off but when I got money to spend you better at least take the time to get me a price and tell me if you have one? Im not dumb I shop around so I usually tell salesman not to waste both our time with a bullch!t price either. I used to go back with my new purchase just to let them know they missed one. Got some pretty funny looks when they realized I was a serious buyer.lol

salemen should always take any customer serious... you cant tell who will buy and who won't.. no matter if you look like your a bum with no money or a millionaire... treat every customer with respect and set a good vibe in there head once they leave... that makes one of the steps to being a good dealer a reality.. then comes the followup service, the dealer is only as good as there staff...

although these days it is hard to find good service writers and mechanics... a service writers job is stressful, say the least.. i would not want to do that type of job...period... being sane is worth more than money sometimes...lol

I hear ya Mark, When Roberta and I went car shopping a number of years ago, we wanted a Saturn. We went in and grant it we were not dressed to the nines, we found ourselves ignored for a half hour. We were thoroughly annoyed that we left the store and bought a mustang instead. Never assume anything! We recommend Riverside as well as they seem to always have parts available. The service guys are knowledgeable and seem very helpful. Martins has good parts staff but I have had to wait a number of times for small parts or I had to pay shipping to get parts faster. Riverside seems to carry a larger selection.JMHO.

Personally I've had good experiences with martin west and will continue to shop there. Any time I've had to wait for parts its been 3 days max. Its unfortunate that dealers aren't always consistent with service but its best for people to find whoever it is that will treat them good. As paying customers we deserve respect and fair treatment.

I deal with T-Team at Martin South Side in Edmonton. He's awesome to deal with. No Problems and if there is any problems he'll take care of you. Or at least he has for me, no questions asked. I'd say if you're young definitely talk to t-team, I'm 22 and it seems everywhere else I go i get shrugged off. not there though

I called him and PM'd him as i had heard good thing about him on here but got no response, who know maybe he was busy with other people but i have walked out of the west store three times for lack of service (once for parts once for clothes and once to purchase a 15K quad) and won't step foot in there again ever. I will also make sure my brothers stay away from Martins west store at the very least.

Your age has nothing to do with anything man... I got a message from you that I must have mis-interpreted that basically said if I was in tomorrow you were coming to see me, but you never did! I didn't read that until a couple days after as I don't normally do business over PM on snow and mud.. As for you phone call I did not get a message you called? It's is my fault not yours but do not take it personally as I deal with people much younger than yourself! And I'm sure anyone can vouch for me here I am very good at getting back to people. If you have already been looked after great if not ill pm you my personal cell number regardless of you need something or not. But anytime you have a question about can am or anything BRP related feel free to email me, call me or pm me and I'll do my best to help you out if its in my power! Sorry for the mis understanding but as I said I had just assumed you were coming to see me and didn't show up! My fault and look forward to hearing from you, good or bad!

Tteam like I said I don't hold it against you personally you were busy when I called and I left a message with what I was looking for and my number.
I called pretty much every dealership in central ab and two phoned me back. I actually went to the west end store to look at the machine but they had two quads left in the entire show room and one was sold and waiting to picked up. The receptionist noticed no one was helping me and as I was about to leave she stopped one of the sales guys and asked him to help me. He said it sleds season and we don't have any quads in stock right now and walked away. The receptionist looked stunned and asked if I would like to talk to someone else I let her know not to bother.

Ya Maxwell they will probably do fine without my business as I am no millionaire but it cost them a 175k boat sale and at least one quad if not two
As well as a sled every year.
When my brother is looking to upgrade his 2011 I will send him to the south store unless he feels like paying extra tax and buying in BC.

Not about the money it's about the service and having a customer feel appreciated weather they purchase anything or not, you are still a customer and should be treated like one! I sent you my info and like I said it doesn't matter what it's about or what time it's at... Fire me a text and if I can't figure it out... I'll find someone that will! Good luck with your machine and hopefully I'll hear from you! Thanks for the heads up on all this I'm glad we could get it taken care of!
