Has anyone picked up the new "lower end" Can-Am Outlander 500/700? More specifically the Max?

A few of us are interested in them but looking for some feedback.

Also, there's a 2015 Polaris Ace 570 going up for sale shortly.

what years you talking about?
xmr or xt ?
I'm looking at early 2000s myself, a 650. Cant believe they're still 5k though for a 2007 :(

Power steering didn't start until 2010.

I have a 15 500, rebuilt twice due to my own stupidity (currently needing another rebuild)

When I wasn’t wheels up in the drink it ran pretty good lol. I did find it didn’t like starting at times though, iirc it started better with 87 as opposed to higher grade stuff

I miss the sound and snap of the vtwin, my current 22 sportsman 570 def is more ‘economical’

You're talking the single cylinder model?
I know hes biased but ostacruiser has a review of them
he's very biased for sure, but if anyone is going to torture one it's him, I'll have to go look it up on the YouTube.

Yes those are the ones I mean.
A few of us looking at the 700 Max XT, but with current promotions I'm leaning towards an 850 Max XT

If you are looking for a slow and boring quad this 50 hp canam should do just fine. It's nothing to get excited about.

I debated between the 700 & 850, I ended up choosing the 850 and love it (went with the XT). Also had been buying Polaris for at least 20 years and have now fully converted to Doo, Yes almost choked on the Doolaid, but not regretting it.

I bought the 700 pro hunting edition. Love it. Handles great, it’s overbuilt. It compares to the 700 grizzly but it’s Less money and more options. Runs very smooth and suspension is crazy nice.

Have a 23 850 xt, great machine but puts out a bit of heat from the engine. Ride power and handling is great
