oh ya'.......he was in a group of 15 and we were having a "meeting" as to where to ride and what to doo and when to return (the group get together thingy so everyone can be safe).....but oh no, he and 2 other guys gone, disappeared.....15 miles later I found them playing in the powder without a care in the world just like a kid at the candy store! But all is good now and after he produced a BrewHouse, I forgave him.......

I am assuming you mean Fernie is closer to Calgary than Valemount or at least I hope that is what you mean. Spent many days in the Rolling Hills of Fernie and many in Valemount and they are both great locales to enjoy our sport.

Well I am pretty pumped I am actually going to get to go this year, and Ive never been to Fernie so Bonus ! Called and booked my rooms yesterday and they only had to Regular rooms left (two double per room) and they were right above the pub, so I am glad none of you guys are heavy drinking party animals or I would not get any sleep !

No, actually that's not what I meant. I've been to Valemount a couple times now and both times it was wind blown, snow was crap or the visibility was garbage. So maybe it was just the time of year I had been going?! I did ride Westridge the last day of MM4 and that place was awesome! Snow was great up that way. I'd give it another chance, but if I went up there again and the snow was garbage I'd probably never ride there again. Just a LONG way to travel to ride COP style snow.
I was there last year T-team, what are you talking about?! I went for the meet and greet, the ride and my friend who I was with and I decided to forgo the banquet and went to Westridge on the last day. I was talking about riding locale. You can party anywhere, thats easy. See my other post about me riding there and the snow being crap. Other than Westridge that is.
Although, we were goofing around heading down off the trail through the trees and that was fun, haha.

that is on the "short cut way" and will be closed this winter. The Morrissey staging area is closed due to logging.
