Alberta will only see a partial eclipse, lets say if you are wearing the helmet what might your wife or children be wearing? again go ahead do what you are comfortable with!

May 8th should give us a great view of the distant sky's bino's will work and telescopes will provide great views of distant Galaxies!

The big deal for me last night was being able to get my 6 year old out to see the entire sky pink at 12 at night. Way past his bedtime but a super cool experience for him.

For a kid it’s pretty cool, I’ll never forget seeing them in the Yukon and Alaska when I was 8, they were pretty wild up there
