The County of Parkland fire bylaw say's You do not require a
burning permit for Your fire pit if it is equipped with a 1/2 inch(13mm)screen(mesh).So here is my latest creation to stay with-in their guide lines.The T-handle allows for swinging of HOT grate to add wood.
