so i got rid of the low to mid bog for the most part... now ive got a bog on the top end only when i get into the powder, on the trail i hit 8 easily but in the pow i only get 65 to 7 on the tach, feels like it is almost missing????:confused:

just put cpi pipes on my 01 800 doo, has v force 3 reeds and uni pods, sled only likes to run at 7-8000 rpm anything under it bogs bad, anybody have this problem before and what was the fix?

found that the gears must have been worn, i replaced them and now it fits great, thanks for all the help

my sled sat through the summer with a full tank and no stabilizer :nono: old fuel is bad!!! affects performance greatly, so i drained my tank, pulled the carb bowls, blew them out with some carb cleaner, then filler it with some AV Gas (101 octane leaded) nows shes perky :d might also dump a can...

I, my brother, and my parts guy all checked the chain that came off, it was a 72, now i ordered a 74 and its to long, so now im getting new gears, im guessin the old ones are wore out and they are the only thing left that could be giving me problem, and i am glad i checked it casue i think it...

somehow whoever owned it before me got a 72 link chain on it, so i just assumed thats what was needed, i went to an online microfiche and the fiche said a 74 was what is supposed to be on

yes it was a 72 that came off with 21/43 gears, just checked the microsfiche, i was wrong with the 72 its a 74, thanks maxwell!!

just replacing chain on my 01 800 doo, the old chain i could touch together between the gears, the new chain is the same number and is about half inch shoerter and will not go on, its off by like quarter of an inch, any ideas? its not been dropped and rolled and has stock gearing, the chain is...

How do you tell if they are "N"? and do they flow a bunch more fuel or what sets them off from the non "N" as far as performance?
