Rode the Grail last friday.....probably the best day of sledding I've ever had. 2ft of fluff and we were the only 3 sleds in there all day!
We will be riding for 3 days. I heard frisbee and boulder are both biggest main areas to hit. Not worried about going too technical because were all fairly experienced riders. Snow not usually a problem or boulder and frisbee the places to stick too for early season?
Hey guys! Planning a trip for Dec. 21 weekend. This will be my first time to revelstoke, I usually hit up Mcbride and Valemount areas as I am from north eastern alberta. I will be going with my Dad who as ridden lots in the area, albeit 10+ years ago. Any reccomendations on places to stay or...
Does anyone know where to get info regarding road closures. Want to head make a trip to Mcbride/Valemount this weekend but don't want to drive 4 hrs to get to a closed road. Obviously the road I would be traveling would be highway 16.
I would be cautious about what type of octane boost you use. Some actually use ethanol to boost the octane level, which could put the ethanol level in your fuel dangerously high.
No ethanol in my fuel. So I was thinking it might have something to do with running high octane fuel without ethanol, with the non-ethanol resistor in. Could this be the problem?
Yes my sled at WOT would be revving 8150-8200 then drop suddenly to around 6650-6700 and hold there. If I kept the throttle pinned it would eventually come back and clear up or if I blipped the throttle a couple times it would come back.
Took sled out this weekend with ethanol plug in. Went for alittle rip around my field to replicate the bogging issue. Went back to garage and changed to non-ethanol plug, could not replicate the bog! Running esso 92 octane the whole time. So it seems that changing the plug does clear up the bog...
