Battery went dead on my 05 summit rt 1000 and replaced battery and charged fully and now the darn engine light keeps flashing at me. Starts fine but not sure if i want to take to the mountains with engine light flashing. Any ideas what this could be?

Have a 1999 summit 600 and the motor blew again this winter, 20 kms after doo dealer rebuilt engine last march. Decided to do it myself and found out that they put oversized piston on the one side and didn't hon or bore the cylinders. Got that all done and sled would overheat after 2 minutes...
