I believe assault front shocks will be 1" longer than dragon. So you might get funny geometery or have fitment issues. Length on the rears should be the same length. But yes the mounting hardware might need some tweaking to fit the dragon
Interested in the bogey wheel assemblies from the skid. Maybe a few other rear suspension parts once I see what all im missing.
Edit... NVM I saw on your kijiji ad that the skid is gone.
I have a bunch of stuff id like to clear out. If you dont feel a price is fair feel free to throw an offer. All parts are for an 800 dragon. Im also open to trades (or trades plus cash in either direction) for other IQ parts as I am building another machine.

regear (most guys go 19/42), clutch kit, slp single pipe kit, PAR 12.5 head/domes, PCV, koso dual EGT, should wake it up for you.
MTNTK fix kit is a must. and should make it have a bit more snap too.
You're more like 1500-1800ft most likely. In edmonton I was running 8250 and I think max I ever saw was 8400. With a fix kit and all else the same I was around 8100. Edmonton is about 2200ft.
Have they said if the bluetooth communication setup is compatible with avalanche beacons? Im sure they would have to be, but I know having your cell phone on, or using WIFI enabled gopros can cause interference.
I havent read the details, maybe its just on the trail sleds...?
I have an assault so I already have stiff springs. But if you put stiffer springs and the sled still likes to stay low, make sure the rear suspension is very well greased. It likes to stick in place and not rebound all the way, sits kind of low. Might even need to remove and degrease the rods...
I've done a fair bit of reading on dynotechs articles and they make a good point that crappy control of the exhaust valves contribute to the mid range problems. They mention that you're chasing a moving target because they don't necessarily operate in a predictable manner.
Although fix kit and...
When mine went my ecu was fine but blew my top end from detonation. The vr was causing the injectors to operate erratically and then it was fix kit time.
have you tested your tps?
im not sure that would cause backfiring though. but the throttle issues possibly lol.
when was the last time you changed your fuel filter? i would check the filter pump and injectors. how did the plugs look after the 4500rpm incident?
sorry about your luck. that sucks. i cant believe they would use cast aluminum for that part. i would imagine there will be aftermarket laser cut steel brackets popping up sometime soon.
