It would be nice to see some more races here in AB.
I was at the races last year and they were great.
The pro final was a great race to watch.
I think if they could get a venue along or close to the Hwy 2 corridor
you would have a chance of drawing more spectators.

Hello again:
If any one is interested give me a PM with your phone number and full name.
If I hear of something I will let you know about it.
I will try to get some practice in as soon as we have snow.
Alan
I think the sticky film would be from the oil not the fuel.
Now if you were not getting a hot enough burn with your high octane fuel the oil will leave the film.
Perhaps the oil was a type that needed more heat to burn cleanly.
Super racing oil is not needed or recommended for stock engines...
Here is the NSRA website.

I think the reason most of the races got cancelled last year was due to the lack of volunteer workers.
It takes a ton of resources to put on an actual race.
If you have interest contact them through the NSRA page.

Good to see the interest.
My new race sled is in.
I will be practising for the Red lake I-500 put on by USCC.
It is ran over 3 days open course not laps like the soo.
I will running by myself as well as on a team.
I will be interested in some practice days on a set course.
To practice with me...
I am not from Calgary but I travel there every couple of weeks.
I do some shocks.
Will be in Calgary sometime this week. What do you have?

Hello:
Any one from AB interested in cross country racing?
Any one have a new sled coming?
I would like to hear from any one that is interested
in maybe doing some practice.
I am looking at running the I-500 this year.
Alan
Hello;
Here's how I do it.
Yes you want to do the test on a warmed up engine.
This will eliminate false readings due to oiled down cylinders.
Use a good proven gauge.
Have the engine at operating temp.
Plugs removed, but back in the wires and grounded to the engine.
Ignition off.
Throttle wide...
