I have a honda 3000, my dad has a kipor, looks the same but yellow and cheaper. Both about the same sound. Kipor is a fair bit cheaper. Both had them for 3 years, no trouble with either.

The lights are dim, battery is not staying charged. Is the stator the first thing to change out? Or are there other things a guy should check first? Any suggestions would be great.

I have an 08 F-350 diesel, I am getting around 18 mpg as long as I keep it around 110km/h. If your in a hurry it isn't pretty.
