Guess I earnt that haha. I think I'm just going to buy the 2011, body is very mint condition, buy a fix kit for it and I should have a pretty solid sled for under 7700$. I think Kovs sled is a bit more then I need, looks like a good deal though :thumbsup:
Alright I'm going to go look at the sled, shouldn't be no harm in that haha. The owner is down to 7000$ obo, sled sounds like it's in good shape. What would I be looking for compression wise at 2100 feet elevation? I know I should be looking for a cheaper 2013+ but I don't really want to travel...
Sorry for a bit of a thread jack here. I was thinking of looking at a 2011 rmk 800 155, 800 kms on it their asking 7300$(5700)usd obo. Is this a ok deal? I've also heard of injector issues on 2011s?

Thanks, forgot about that. Sled has 7400kms, supposedly with new motor 1200kms ago. Compression cold clutch side:140psi, with oil:170psi. Mag side cold:156psi. Clutch side hot:110psi, with oil:125psi. Mag side hot:145psi. All compression tested was done at 2000ft of elevation, 8 pulls per test.
So I was out riding the otherday, and i shut of my sled to help a buddy get unstuck, and when i restarted it it wouldnt rev up and wouldnt idle. I let it die, and then restarting it seemed to run fine. I only noticed on the ride home it sounded funny and had a bit of a bog around 4-5500 rpms. I...

thats the shocks that are on it, just a quick search online it seems like fox floats run around 800$?
I have a 2006 800 summit x, the front shocks are bad on it. I was wondering if these shocks are rebuildable? Or there's a guy selling a set of shocks, 1200km on them for 200$ is that a decent deal? Any input is appreciated, thanks.
So the sled started bogging on me, I though the spark plug wires came out but unplugged the dpm and it was fine again... It also started idling at about 3 and wouldn't come down without choke. There was also a delay for rpms to come down after steady throttle, unles I choked it or blipped the...
Okay I'll check all the connections thanks. There's something about dpm troubleshooting in the manual I have but I think it's for non power tek engines.
Okay so I pulled the hoses going from the dpm to the carb, and the sled runs better then it ever has. Does anybody know how to reset the dpm? Or can I just leave it unplugged from the carb
The sled runs better with the choke on half then without, even warmed up. Nothing in the carbs was blocked, main jet was clear. The vent hose coming off the Dpm got melted shut, I cut it off and stuck the end back on. could melting the vent hose have caused some issues with the dpm? definitely...
