Hey guys, I just bought a m1000 and looking to modify the sleds exhaust.I want to put a slp y pipe, pipe and stinger on with a fuel controller(power commander 3)...but I dont want to go to race fuel. Can I still run this sled with these mods and keep 93 octane.

Crank Pins. Polaris 800's are known for snapping crank pins, just get new ones around 3000mi. I see you have a set of twins with the boost bottle. I have the identical sled same engine mods and its rediculas...wicked torque , just a 144 not a 151. If you havent rode it yet, your gonna love it...

I had the same problem with my 01 800 RMK. You should get your sled re jetted, this was my problem. I went from stock w/mbrp can to twin split second pipes and had a bad lo end bog. Sled would still start fine and it would run, just run shitty. Because of the airflow through the pipes you gain...

i was riding home the night before last with some friends and i blew a belt, thats fine but when the belt blew it grabbed the 2 wires going to my egt guage and ripped them out of the dash. The wires and the shredded belt were wrapped so bad around the clutch that it took me 2 hours to get them...

I have a 2001 800 RMK Mod. Split second twins, boost bottle, slp airbox, v force reeds, aftermarket fly bars. Keeps up with the new 800,s just fine. Nothin wrong with the older iron:d:beer:

South of Fox Creek there is 3' or so. If you take the 947 sec. highway past kaybob plant, approx 40min, youll find snow. i was out there yesterday and had a good time. There is about 1' or so here in whitecourt.
