For next season I am thinking about doing a low boost kit on a 1200 ski-doo, but being I can't imagine there being many out there I wanted to touch base with the yami guys and see how happy they are with their low boost kits (180hp.) What do they compare to? Do they run with or beat pump gas two strokers. Thanks. Jason.

Hey rode the 180 kit last year and I think you'll be very happy! They kit is fairly easy to install and super reliable not to mention it destroys two strokes... for real. No comparison. The torque is what you will be most impressed with. I have yet to try it on a 1200 doo, but I know the Nytro loves it!
Good luck,
Happy boosting!

I have a low boost nitro and love it.I beat my buds m8 pumpgas up hills on a harder snow day in a race everytime. Not by much. He has a 162. I have a 153 I. Big snow days he will out climb me with the longer track. I love the lowboost

really impressed with mine,,im running 162 and lots of weight off..i had stock gears and think for the 162 it would perform better on the 20-40..The shock-wave helix was a big help getting the rpm's dialed.
