I start mine up at home untill the red light goes out, then shut it off for the 20 min drive to blue lake.....it "Heat Soaks" everything and make an even heat.......then when I get to the hill I start it up before I pull the super clamp.......give it another 3-4 mins well getting everything on.......in 30 years I have NEVER blown an engine....also had 30 000 KM on a old ski-dooo SS25 that had the 462 engine.......never opened it once in its entire life.....warm up is a big thing! love the guys that pull the cord and rip up the trail like a mock chickin and then boom 2 KM up LMFAO!

but this is my first 4 stroke and Im going to warm it up just like my 2 strokes!

also dont shut it off right away after a big pull......well with a turbo that is! the oil will coke in the turbo and in the long run is hard on the turbo! I all ways have installed a turbo timer on my cars but just let it idle for a min or two if you can! I know when the group stop you just shut them off and that is ok because you werent making the turbo glow orange! lol just drive around normal for a minute before you stop with your group! just my 2 cents!
